The coronavirus pandemic has made wearing masks a new normal as it reduces the chances of spreading the virus. Despite the increasing number of infections and the number of deaths reported everyday, there are many Americans who continue to be reluctant and refuse to wear masks when in public places. But now YouTuber Allen Pan has invented a gun that launches a surgical mask at the target’s face.

Many Americans continue to believe that they are infective and uncomfortable. There are also people who say that it can lead to carbon-di-oxide poisoning. But many of them are also lazy. The new mask gun has been made with the help of a CO2 canister which is a part of the car’s break line and a pistol grip of a spray paint that works like a trigger. The gadget was first tested on a mannequin and it proved to be a success.

Pan owns the YouTube channel Sufficiently Advanced and has posted a video it that talks about his invention. He has more than a million subscribers on his YouTube channel and the gun that he invented worked perfectly fine the first time he had fired it. There are also small weight magnets that are placed on the strings and are tied on the corner of the masks and helps to wrap it on the face. After a couple of trials on mannequins, Pan said that it is not ready for human trials. The YouTuber tried it on himself and it successfully covered his nose and mouth and did not cause any hurt.

Allen Pan then took his device to the Huntington Beach that is usually a place that holds a number of pro-Trump rallies. Earlier he expected people to get angry at him, but surprisingly he found volunteers who were interested. However, the device is not ready for a mass production but is surely a great way to spread a message and create awareness about the current situation.
