FuboTV Live Streaming to be launched on LG TVs

American streaming service FuboTV is all set to be launched for some of the newer variants of LG Smart TVs. The OTT platform is one of the most popular ones or the sports enthusiasts. Not many are aware that the app was already available on a number of set-top boxes like the Apple TV or the Chromecast. Here after the service and the app will be available on the WebOS platform of LG. But there will be a limitation as the app will only be available on the selected LG Smart TV models from 2018 to 2021.

People who have the newer LG models will be able to have access to the 100-plus sports service along with some of the entertainment channels that come directly from the sets. This will mean that the users will not have to depend on the third party devices for access. Mike Berkley, the chief product officer at FuboTV while talking to a leading daily said that nearly 90 percent of the viewership of FuboTV comes from the big screen and with the launch on the LG Smart TVs will help to expand the service further.

The service subscription will begin from $65 per month. FuboTV is best for the sports enthusiasts but also has plenty of entertainment and news channels. The base tier of the service includes Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN 2 and Olympic channel. The actual features of FuboTV come out with the sport package add-ons as it offers variety in sports channels.

The only drawback is that there are limited number of regional sports channels but that problem remains on almost all OTT Platforms. The users of LG Smart TVs will here after will also be able to record the entire series with just a click of a button. Up to six user profiles can be added.
