The year’s much awaited and high profile Apple event is just round the corner. The event to be held on September 14, 2021 is expected to unveil the next slate of devices that include the iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch Series 7. The date for the event was confirmed by Apple on September 7, 2021. This year too, the event will be held completely online amidst the continuing concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The invite from Apple has included the phrase ‘California streaming’ and features a neon outline of the Apple logo and has a backdrop of a mountain range.
The September, 2021 event is considered as the most important Apple events of the year as it is expected to unveil fresh devices that would be up for sale for the upcoming holiday season. The launch event will help people prepare their respective shopping list. In 2020, Apple held three product events during the second half that saw some new Apple iPhones, iPads and Mac computers.
This time it is still not clear as to what products Apple is expected to launch. It is also not clear if the company will be holding multiple events to launch different products. The iPhone 13 is one of the most likely products that could be unveiled and even the Watch 7 could also be launched by the company. Due to the different launch dates of the products that were launched in 2020, the products got their own platforms to shine.
The iPhone 12 was one of the highlights of 2020 with its 5G versions and a new striking design. Another highlight was the Apple computers that marked a big technology transition of the company. This year, the company is also expected to launch its in-house chips which are rumoured to be called as the M1X. The new chips would help the company to deal with the chip shortage that companies across the globe are facing.
