The next generation of highly-successful phablet Samsung Galaxy Note is all set to be launched within just a few days. A report from the technology blog said that Samsung will be holding an event on September 4, 2013, just before the IFA 2013 in Berlin. The event will reportedly unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note III.
At the same tech expo in 2012, the company unveiled its Galaxy Note II. Reports also claim that Samsung will have an Unpacked event which will be part of the IFA, with only members of the press as attendees. The new Galaxy Note III is expected to have a 5.99-inch screen with stylus support. Rumors have been circulating that the South Korean-based manufacturer will use both SuperAMOLED and the IPS panels for the phablets, depending on the market requirements.
Rumors also said that the phone will run on 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor or 1.8GHz eight-core Exynos processor. As the Galaxy S4 comes in both variants, Samsung to use two CPU options in the upcoming flagship phablet is highly likely.
An image that was leaked earlier shows that the phone has a big screen with curved edges and chrome stripe.
