Details of Huawei’s Ascend Mate that is rumored to be launched at the IFA, Berlin, have surfaced online.
Huawei could be introducing a new member to the Ascend Mate family – Ascend Mate 3. The anticipated launch will be next month, at the annual IFA trade event scheduled to take place in Berlin. Details of the Ascend Mate 3 surfaced on the Antutu website. According to the details on the website, the Chinese developer is looking to enhance some key features which are likely to keep critics and users happy.
While keeping the display size of the current model of 6.1 inch intact, the alleged 1080p resolution is a great jump from the current 720p screen. On larger displays, the difference in pixels would be much more which would affect the quality. Apart from this, some other great changes include:
- Huawei’s own octacore Kirin 920 CPU.
- 3 GB RAM.
The RAM bump up is great as it will really speed up the phone’s processes. Also, the current model uses Snapdragon 400, so we will wait to see how Huwaei’s own octacore will function.
Ascend Mate is an Android phablet manufactured by Huawei, that was launched in 2013. It is succeeded by the Ascend Mate 2. Huawei is a leading Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment company that was started in 1987. It has its headquarters in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
