The Pixel 4 launch followed by a little controversy of the face unlock feature that unlocked the device with the user’s eyes closed. Now that the search engine has assured that it will release an update in the upcoming days, things are going smooth. The devices have already started to ship to the customers. The UK customers can expect a pleasant and a fun surprise.
Reports say that Google is delivering some of its newly launched Pixel 4 smartphones in a fun cereal box along with some branded marshmallows inside the box as well. The progress was brought to notice by one off the users, who informed about such fun packages on social media. Going by the details, it was found that the fun cereal boxes were for the first ones that were pre-ordered by the users in the UK and came directly from the Google Store.
The search engine confirmed that there are about 2,000 of such boxes that have been shipped to the happy customers and it is surely a fun little box with a bonus for those who pre-ordered. The front portion of the cereal box has shown some of the new features of the Pixel 4 like the bigger RAM, the new camera and Motion Sense. The box also has a ‘free inside’ portion that has mentioned about the unlimited storage for Google Photos.
Apart from the smartphone in the box, the search engine has also included a note that says Thank You. The note has also reminded the buyers that they can now get a free HP Chromebook 14. There is also a small bag that has cereal that has marshmallows that have the logo of Google imprinted on them. The Pixel 4 is the new version for the Pixel 3 and was officially announced by the company on October 15, 2019 and is expected to be released on October 24, 2019 in the US.
