Telecom giant AT&T has announced the launch of its smartphone Pantech Flex. The new Pantech Flex is a unique Android smartphone that offers users with a dual experience system. It is a perfect mobile phone, which runs a simplified version of the OS and is ideal for smartphone beginners.
Even the smartphone has been priced reasonably at $49.99 and comes with a two-year agreement. The Pantech Flex is the first smartphone in AT&T’s new Simplicity Seeker family. The device runs on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and a standard version of the OS is available to experienced smartphone users. It also features a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel rear facing camera, 2-meapixel front-facing camera and comes powered with a 1.5-GHz, dual-core processor.
The phone can be switched to an ‘easy experience’ mode which places the favorite app on the home screen in a clearly organized and an easy to read format. The user will also have access to the traditional smartphone bells and rings represented in a simplified format.
The user can switch back and forth between the traditional Android and easy mode at will. The Flex has been equipped with more power for the advanced smartphone enthusiasts as well. The device has a 1.5 Ghz dual core processor along with 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display. Pantech’s SwiftKey Technology minimises the key strokes.
