Acer Unveils Latest Notebooks and Netbooks At CES 2011

Gadget Herald: Taiwan based technology giant, Acer, has unveiled new notebooks and netbooks at the CES 2011. The company showcased the 15.6-inch Aspire 5253 and the 14-inch Aspire 4253 at the event, the latest in offering by Acer. These notebooks are powered by the latest AMD E-Series Accelerated Processing Unit which is also known as (APU), this will allow the computer to access HD quality Internet and view videos in the high definition too.

One of the most important features that has been upgraded on these devices is the extended battery life. Another feature that one can enjoy on these notebooks is the high-definition (1366×768) Acer CineCrystal LED backlit displays. Both notebooks are having 320GB inbuilt memory storage, 4GB RAM DDR3 RAM and 1.3 mega pixel web camera.

These devices are running on genuine Windows 7 operating system and is priced at $449 only. The latest netbook by the company was also unveiled at the event, called the Aspire One 522 10.1 inch, which is powered by the AMD C-50 and may be priced around $399 or even less.
