The new iPhone 6 all set to have a wider screen.

US based tech giant Apple is all set to begin the production of its next generation iPhone device. The iPhone 6  will come in two sizes, out of which one will be a 4.7 inch display version and the other will be a 5.5 inch model.

The 4.7 inch version is expected to be out as early as this autumn. More reports have revealed that both the iPhone 6 versions are expected to have in-cell touch panel technology built in to the screen which will allow for thinner construction.

This is not Apple’s only launch announcement this month,  its much awaited iWatch is also said to be under mass production and will launch in October. This will be Apple’s debut entry into the wearable device market, the smartwatch will have a 2.5 inch arched rectangular display supplied by LG.

The upcoming iPhone 6 is expected to be thinner and have more curved edges. Samsung has for long had an edge over the iPhone in terms of screen size, with this latest development, the iPhone will overcome that shortcoming.
