Apple online store crashes few moments after iPhone 6 is up for pre-order.

The Apple online store crashed on September 12, 2014, moments after the iPhone 6 was put up on the website for pre-order. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus went on pre-order on September 12, 2014 at 5 pm AEST, but at 5:05 the site crashed due to the heavy traffic and displayed “We’ll be back” in different languages.

On September 9, 2014, Apple had launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus at an event held in Cupertino, where they also announced that the phones will be up for preorder.

This is the second time that the Apple site has crashed due to the heavy demand of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Last week, on September 9, 2014, the Apple was down for a while all around the world during the live streaming of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch event. At the event, Apple launched the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Apple Watch and its new mobile payment software Apple Pay.

There are also reports that the iPhone 6 Plus was sold out within a few hours. Meanwhile, popular shopping website eBay.com was flooded with people who secured their iPhone 6 pre-order. One user listed the iPhone 6 Plus for $2400, while the same model is officially selling on the Apple website for $1129.

The iPhone 6 will be in stores and ready to ship by September 19, 2014, but the iPhone 6 Plus will take at least 3-4 weeks more to ship.
