Amazon launches Fire HD 8 Kids Edition tablet

Amazon

Online shopping giant Amazon has launched the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition. The latest device is the larger one of the two tablets which have been made for children. The tablet is a Fire HD 8 on its basic level but has a drop-proof rubber case and also comes with a free subscription to the Fire For Kid Service. The free service provides a huge wealth of content for children.

It has been said that it is the best tablet for kids and has been offered at a sale price of £89.99 at the Prime Day Sale. The tablet is not just cheap but a convenient 8 inch tablet as long as the users do not mind being limited to the Amazon theme. The device is available in the Kids Edition case and is available in yellow, blue and pink colors.

The best part about the tablet is that it is not just heavier but can be conveniently gripped and feels like it can withstand any bangs. The cover of the tablet has been designed so that does not slip away from the kid’s hands smeared with chocolate. Some of the important features include good battery life of up to 12 hours, one year long free subscription for kids, 2 year warranty, 32 GB Storage with microSD slot, 2 mega pixel rear camera and a VGA front camera.

The only negative factor is that , the device does not come with a screen protector, provided it is meant for children so a screen protector can be vital. The 32 GB storage will allow the storage of all the apps the children need and a micro SD slot can come to the rescue if the device runs out of space. A two mega pixel camera and a VGA camera for the device might also be a minus point when compared to today’s smartphone standards.
