Huawei shipped more than 200 million smartphones despite political pressure

The year 2018 has not been easy but challenging for tech giant Huawei. The company launched a good smartphone one after the other. The gadget enthusiasts got to see the Nova series from the low end spectrum and the P20 and Mate 20 Series. Amidst the tough competition it has also faced a stiff regulatory opposition found itself caught in a political and economical war between the US and China.

The company has faced a number of issues like its deals vanishing from the US market, its CFO being arrested in Canada, all these conditions has not slowed down the spirit of Huawei. Despite all the ups and downs, the company is ending the year 2018 on a high note. Huawei has managed to ship more than 200 million smartphones in 2018.

All the above conditions and Huawei’s promise to be the best has allowed it to shine with success. The company sold more than 200 million smartphones in 2018 and the figures are quite impressive. Huawei took the opportunity to highlight some of its big performers. The company shipped 65 million devices from the Nova series. The 16 million from the P 20 series and 5 million from the Mate 20 series. The figures was reached min just two months from the announcement. The Honor 10 and the V10 were also appreciated by the audience but no specific numbers of its sales were mentioned.

Huawei is ranked second in the globe and now it seems like nothing is going to stop Huawei anymore. Despite all the political war, the company has managed to remain at the top and staying sturdy for such a long time is actually a big deal. Still, be it Nokia, Samsung or Huawei, the rise and fall in the market will continue to happen. But Huawei must be truly appreciated for its efforts to be at the top despite going through rough tides.
