The Game Developer Conference for the year 2019 is all set to be held from March 18, 2019 to March 22, 2019. The conference this year is expected to see some cool announcements and the one that is much hyped is from the search engine giant Google. The search engine giant is expected to give a key note presentation on March 19, 2019 at 10 AM PT. Even the fans are excited about the latest rumours.

According to the ongoing rumours, Google is all set to announce their own video game console that will be competing with Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox. The hint came from an announcement from the search engine which said, “Gather Around” and had a mysterious hallway picture. More reports have said that the search engine is also working on a game streaming platform with the codename Yeti which works with Chromecast but that can also easily be adapted to a console if that’s what their plan is.

If that is not enough, Google has also been working on Project Stream which is expected to be an amazing concept that hopefully becomes a reality soon. It will also allow you to play pretty much any game on any device with the help of Google Chrome without the need of any powerful specifications. The games can also be streamed to the screen through Chrome. It surely sounds like a great idea and would make getting a Chromebook a much more likely option for many people.

Meanwhile the official details about the game are scant and the search engine has already started sending out invites. While the invite does not give much details, it is being speculated that the company would unveil the long-awaited game consoles at the event. A few reports about eight months back had also hinted that Google had invested a lot of its resources in to some of the gaming hardware.
