Apple confirms event on March 25 to announce launch of streaming service

Cupertino based company Apple has officially confirmed that it will hold an event on March 25, 2019. The company is expected to announce its long awaited TV streaming and Apple News subscription services. As always, the invitation to the event does not have much information but going by the animated GIF and the tag “Its show time”, has hinted about the new TV service that will play a big role.

Rumours about the upcoming event had started off last month and said that the company will reportedly focus exclusively on the services. At the same time there is also a chance that , the company could show off the revamped AirPods, a new entry level iPad and the AirPower wireless charging pad that has been delayed since a long time.

However, this is not the first time, the company has used this tagline for an event. It had first used it for an event held in September 2006 when it announced that it would start offering movies on iTunes with the first reveal of the iTV that was renamed as Apple TV on release in 2007. The tagline is certainly a fitting teaser for the upcoming event. Even in 2006, Apple’s media offerings could be seen for its devices. The TV service is Apple is expected to be released later in Spring. Apple is also expected to unveil its News subscription service.

Reports say that Subscription News will reportedly look to offer a Netflix-style bundle for magazines and subscription newspapers, all in one convenient place. Some of the earlier reports had suggested that Apple was having troubles in terms of negotiations while demanding a staggering 50 percent of the revenue from the service. Fresh announcements from Apple have always been exciting for the gadget lovers. Apple services have been in news since long and the company has delayed the launch since a long time.
