The world continues to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. The number of cases are gradually coming down in many nations and the governments are also allowing some movement across different nations after observing a complete lockdown as a safety measure. While many people continue to remain at home, games are one of the common ways to spend time by the people who are either quarantined or are just staying at home as a safety measure. Gaming giant Nintendo has now released a free Switch fitness game and has said that it has been developed by a small group of developers while they were working from home.
The new game is known as the Jump Rope Challenge and has been created with an aim to add some fun in people’s everyday life. The gamers have to use the Joy-Con controllers and have to imagine them as the handles of a skipping rope. It has shown jumping bunnies as the characters and has very simple menus. The best part is that there are no tutorials that could be skipped which means that it is easy to get started and it is that easy.
If the gamer is bored and does not want to play alone, then they can play with a partner and try to reach a high score and each person can hold one Joy-Con. Since the game is about jumping, that does not mean that it is only for those who can jump. Those who are not able to jump or are simply worried that their neighbors could be disturbed, the players can just bend their knees or also move their arms to play the game and that will not create any noise.
The game is available for free on the Nintendo eShop for a limited time. It is not just a great way to spend time but will also encourage people to exercise while they are quarantined or are at home just to be cautious.
