The Fitbit since the past few years has been popular in terms of making some of the best smartwatches in the market. The versa line has had some of the popular and flagship smartwatches since many years and now there is a new model in the segment. The company has o August 26, 2020 announced the new Sense that has been priced at $330 and also marks the new flagship along with the updated Versa 3 priced at $230 and the Inspire 2 priced $100.

Going by the looks, the Sense and the Versa 3 look pretty similar , but as the name suggests the Sense certainly has more sensors than its earlier devices that had a cheaper price tag. The device has a EKG (electrocardiogram) functionality that will help to detect atrial fibrillation, which is something that Apple has already brought forward since a couple of years in its devices. The surprising thing here is that the Sense is places a notch higher than Apple, as it can now also detect the stress levels of the person who is wearing it.

So if the person wants to check for the stress levels, the user has to just place the palm on the display and this is when the electrodermal activity sensor will start working with the help of a metal frame around the display. The fancy algorithms will also help to detect how the results corresponds to the stress levels. The smartwatch can also help to detect the temperature. However, it will not be able to tell you the exact figure on the temperature but will warn you if the temperature is on the higher side or on the lower side than usual.

Fitbit has claimed that the feature could be helpful in detecting the temperature and ovulation. The Sense can provide 6 days of battery life which is pretty impressive. The company has also said that it will be introducing the temperature feature on some of its older devices as well.
