The Pixel 5 by Google is one of the much awaited smartphones and is expected to be launched in the month of October 2020. The surprising part here is that there are reports that claim that the upcoming Pixel 5 is very likely to be cheaper than its predecessor Pixel 4. The report in question has mentioned that the Pixel 5 might have a price tag of €629. In the UK the price would be £599 which is cheaper than the Pixel 4 that has a price tag of £669. The Pixel 4 made it way to the market in 2019.
As the European nations apply VAT to their products, the US price of the device cannot be predicted. But with a rough calculation the Pixel 5 could cost $669 in the US while the Pixel 4 is priced at $799. The report has come from a tech blog based in Germany but the authenticity of its can be doubted. The rumours about a cheaper Pixel 5 comes as there are reports that the upcoming device might have a mid-range Snapdragon 756G chipset.
There are also expectations that the Pixel 5 might come with some other strong specifications like it is expected to have a strong dual or triple rear-camera with a 90 Hz or 120 Hz refresh rate display and 5G connectivity . The device might cease to have the Soli radar chips or the squeezable sides that the earlier Pixel phones had. There could also be chances that the search engine could have taken some inspiration from the Nexus phones that had then became popular and one of the best Android devices in the market.
The Nexus smartphones were priced very smartly with the appropriate specifications who loved their Android devices. However, the Pixel 4a had the right kind pf specifications that had a neat design a good performance along with an impressive phone photography result at the price of $349.
