Motorola has always impressed its loyal smartphone lovers with its foldable designs. You could blame the competition in the market that was responsible to being down the market of the American telecommunications giant. But this time the company has decided to bank on the nostalgia that is related to its smartphones and had brought back the Razr and brought a new version while matching it with the modern standards. The new Razr made it to the market in about half a year, but was turned down as comparisons were made with Samsung’s entry in the foldable smartphone segment.
But now the company has bounced back with a sequel and has introduced the Moto Razr 5G. Many have been able to have their hands on the new 5G enabled foldable phone by Motorola and there have been mixed responses so far. Even then no other company who have so far come up with their respective foldable models, haven’t been perfect either. The design itself has been tough and adding modernity to it surely adds to the compromise.
The device has a Snapdragon 765G which makes it 5G enabled with 8 GB RAM. The outside screen has been worked on and is better than its predecessor. In terms of comparison, it is thicker, wider and a little shorter than the earlier version. It has a double Gorilla Glass backs instead of the satin finish on the bottom half that was seen in the original Razr.
Another notable improvement is related to the carriers as the device is no longer constrained to Verizon and is all set to go on sale during the fall and the gadget enthusiast would be able to get their hands on an unlocked version and use it on AT&T and T-Mobile along with their sub-6 5G networks.
