Apple ready to come up with face mask made for employees

The coronavirus pandemic left a number of economic sectors suffering a downfall. However, during this time the demand for masks went up high and people who banked on the opportunity made the most of this demand in the market. A number of companies have come up with their innovative masks that provide a reasonable protection while stepping out during the pandemic time. Apple has also joined the bandwagon of making face masks for the retail and corporate employees.

The Cupertino based giant has said that it has developed and is producing a face mask that could be suitable for the corporate employees. Apple in an interview, had confirmed that the new mask has been developed after ample research in terms of finding the appropriate material that would filter the air properly and would not even disturb the supply of the personal protective equipment that is these days used by the medical professionals.

The upcoming Apple Face Mask has been designed in-house by the engineer and industrial team. These are those people who also work on the Apple devices like the iPads and iPhones. The Apple Face Mask has three layers that filters the incoming as well as the outgoing particles. The company has also assured that the mask can be washed and reused up to at least five times. Apple is reportedly preparing to distribute a product that has been named as ClearMask that has been developed at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. The university educated the deaf and those students, who are hard-of-hearing.

Apple has informed that the ClearMask is the first mask that will be completely transparent and could also be used for surgical purpose. The product has also been cleared by the Food and Drug Administration. The Clear Mask has also been tested on the employees in three of the Apple Stores and now it is considering its own transparent mask. Earlier, Apple has given its employees with the standards cloth masks.
