The One Plus 9 Pro was one of the much awaited handsets in the smartphone market and was launched on March 23, 2021. While a number of people have been able to get their hands on the handset, reports say that a number of owners are complaining of overheating problems. The overheating warnings are popping up mostly due to the camera usage. A number of such complaints are being noticed and reported and most of them can be found on the support forum of OnePlus.

Most of the users have mentioned about the camera app taking the centre with the warnings. Some of the users of the 9 Pro have also complained that they experience such warnings even with the light usage of the camera app with a still photo or a video recording. At a point, it refuses to take any further pictures until the device cools down. Many of them have also reported this problem soon after the initial set up.

It has to be noticed that the company has paid a lot of attention over the heat problems in the 9 Pro design for the reason that the device has a fast wireless charging feature. The device is equipped with a thicker copper and a large heat sink that keeps it safe from overheating when it is charging wirelessly. The smartphone also has a 25W batter cells that helps to control the heat apart from improving the charging time that it takes.

Going by the description above, it clearly seems that the company was well aware of the problems and the device is quite equipped to deal with it as well. OnePlus has assured that it will soon be sending a software update that would be fixing the heating problem. Till that fix arrives, the company has said that the 9 Pro owners, who are experiencing the problem need to submit a bug report through its forum.
