It has been a trend among the companies to keep changing their logos and their overall looks. The changes are made either for a change that has been awaited since many years or is made just to attract the attention of the users. Apple made changes in the style of its logo recently and it has earlier done it a couple of times and now OnePlus has made an official change since it was created. If you are one of those who are fond of the brand then there are no reasons to worry as many people watch the changes made in a different way.
As to why OnePlus had the need to bring a change, OnePlus said that the logo has a new curvilinear “1” which is now easier to read as it has been adjusted in terms of its weight to bring a balance for a better view. The surrounding box has the “+” which has been made bigger and can be now more prominently seen. The company has also clarified that the new logo has been approved by the OnePlus community which is behind the success of the brand.
But the explanation seems to be inadequate and none of the fans seem satisfied either. The company added that the refreshed logo has helped to create a clear association between the trademark and the symbol and has allowed more flexible application and can also be better recognized in the digital media. It is still not clear as to what was wrong with the old logo and why actually the new logo has been introduced. OnePlus is also making attempts to be more noticeable and for better readability, it is adding new colors it has changed the font.
OnePlus is a Chinese based smartphone giant that was established in 2013. And is owned by Oppo and is found by Pete Lau and Carl Pei.
