South Korean giant Samsung is all set to host its virtual event known as the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 press conference on January 14, 2021. To everyone’s surprise, the company is expected to drop the much awaited Galaxy S21 series sooner than it was expected along with the Galaxy Buds Pro and the SmartTag Bluetooth tracker. This means that the Samsung observers and the gadget enthusiasts will be able to see the new 5G phones and accessories sooner than expected.

The press event is expected to begin on January 14 at 10 am ET/7am PST/3PM GMT and Friday 2AM AEST. The latest leaks and reports have hinted towards the three new phones namely – the Galaxy S21 Plus, S21 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra and this will be a sequel to the earlier siblings Galaxy S20, S20 Ultra and the S20 Plus which are not even a year old. Samsung has this time pre-poned its usual February launch date window. This could be due to the reason that the MWC 2020 has been shifted to late June or just that the Exynos 2100 and the Snapdragon 888 chipsets are ready to be rolled out.

At the same time the event invite by Samsung has not mentioned anything about the phones. But it has said that it is for the semi-annual Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2021 showcase. It has the tagline, ‘Welcome to Everyday Epic’. Samsung’s intentions to have an early launch date falls in line with the leaks of the Galaxy S21 that have been coming out almost every other day. The leaks have been so out that there is almost nothing to reveal.

Samsung is expected to launch smartphones in three sizes, 6.9, 6.7 and 6.2 inches and all of them will be having 120Hz adaptive displays along with a smaller bottom bezel. There is still no news if it will have expandable storage with the help of micro SD card slot.
