Video sharing site YouTube is likely to get its users to pay for its premium service that allows them to watch the videos without any commercials. With the latest move by YouTube, changes will be introduced to allow the users to listen to their favourite tunes. From November 2021, the free subscribers will no longer be able to watch the music videos on the platform.

The fresh changes will also bring changes to the Music Streaming service of YouTube. The search engine giant has announced that it was going to make the changes for its music streaming service known as the YouTube Music. This could probably be the best method that the users have to play music that they can find on the video sharing site. Moreover, it also offers millions of songs which are being provides by other streaming services.

What matters the most here is that the free users will be able to play music in the background. But it is going to come at a cost and the new restrictions will be applied for the free YouTube Music users. The fresh changes will be launched in the month of November and the new update for the service will start implementing the changes from November 3, 2021. Apart from the update, some of the features would be kept exclusive for the YouTube Music Premium listeners and that include on-demand music selection and unlimited number of skips.

The changes are expected to come for Canada first and the company is soon expected to announce the global expansion plans. But it is not clear as to when the changes will be brought and if the changes would be introduced in other countries as well. Despite the announcement, it cannot be said that YouTube’s music streaming service is the most popular one. The market has a number of them and users across the globe have other options as well.
