Us based software giant Microsoft has revealed that it is all set to unveil its low cost Lumia phones for the US market. The new smartphone has been targeted towards the emerging markets. The new Lumia 430 has been priced at $70 before taxes and if bought without the carrier subsidies.
The smartphone has become one of the most affordable Lumia smartphone yet. In January Microsoft announced the Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 which are priced just a little higher than the Lumia 430. The three new phones offered by Microsoft have limited specifications but have managed to strengthen the product offerings by Microsoft.
It was noticed that Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS had just 2.8 percent market share in the fourth quarter. The new Lumia 430 has two SIM card slots and is a feature that mostly Asians look out for in a phone. The device runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with a 1.2 Ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. Other features include 4 inch screen with 800 X 480 pixel resolution.
The Lumia 430 can be upgraded to Windows 10 after the new OS is made available. The smartphone is powered by 1GB RAM and 8 GB Internal memory. and also has a slot for micro SD cards.
