Gone are the days when Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus had launched just one smartphone per year. But now the competition in the market has surely gone to another level which has forced the giant to be competitive. Not just in terms of a flagship smartphone but also with a promising pair of wireless headphones it surely seems like the company is all out exploring different segments. And now the company might be ready with a much awaited smartwatch.
The Nord by the company was its first mid-range smartphone in many years amidst a lot of celebration and it is now all set to step in to a budget segment with a new phone that has been code-named as Clover. The price tag of the new smartphone is low which means that it is going to have an LCD panel instead of the popular OLED with a resolution of HD+(720p). When the smartphone does not have an OLED screen, it means that it will have a capacitive fingerprint reader on its back.
The device by OnePlus will have a 13MP primary sensor along with a couple of other cameras and each of them will have 2MP resolution which might be for the depth and macro. There are also all the chances that the budget smarthphone might have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The budget device will be powered by a Snapdragon 460 chip which will be much smaller than the Snapdragon 765G found on the Nord. Clover will have the OxygenOS based on Android 10 or it could also be the Android 11 and it will completely dependent on when it launches.
The new processor will have a 4GB RAM with 64GB of expandable storage and the best part is the battery that will be a huge 6,000 mAh. The upcoming Clover might be available on a much wider level across the globe and that will include the United States
