Search engine giant Google launched its Pixel 6 series in October, 2021 that had a new and fresh design along with an upgraded camera hardware and the latest version of Android. There are a number of more things that make the new Pixel exciting. The new series has been touted as the best Pixel device in a long time, but the excitement was loomed due to a few issues with the smartphone. A number of users reported about a few issues with the device that included slow fingerprint scanner and ghost-dialing.
But now the problem of ghost-dialing and more issues have been solved as the company has come up with a fix. An update for the fix is rolling out on Google Play Store which means that people who are facing an issue will soon have the update. People who have disabled the “Hey Google” hotword detection it can be said that it is safe to re-enable it again and the problem of accidentally calling random people on the contact list will no longer exist. Talking about the issue, some of the users had also reported about their phones getting lit up in quite rooms and that it made random calls to people on the contact list.
Slowly more users started to relate and narrate about facing the same problem. That did not stop there and the users also reported that the smartphone made different phone calls to different people at different times. Some of them also said that it was happening with different Pixel devices like with the Pixel 4a and Pixel 3a.
However, not everyone faced such issues but has surely affected a number of users and it is good to know that Google was quick to release a fix. People who wish to have a fix, there is no update available on the Google Play Store but can download the latest version of the Google App.
