The new Fire Phone has a 4.7 inch 3D high definition display. The phone makes use of cameras and infrared lights which are mounted on the phone and detect the head movements of the user to render images accordingly.

“We’re thinking maybe we can improve on that a little,” Bezos said at the unveiling in Seattle. He demonstrated the fascinating 3D features of the phone to an eager audience at the event.

The new Fire Phone will be priced at $199 with a two year contract and will be exclusively available on AT&T’s network for the time being.

Features such as tilting the phone to scroll and the dynamic perspective feature on a 3-D map, revolutionize the idea of what smartphones are capable of.

It is truly a phone from the future!
