The Super Nintendo World theme park is something that everyone is looking forward to. With a big name like Nintendo, the fans are more curious about what might be in store for them when it actually becomes operational. The first Super Nintendo World theme park will be opened in Osaka, Japan and will later open in Singapore and US. The theme park will be Mario-themed and is expected to be an expansion to the Universal Studios.

The place is slowly shaping up to become one of the most interesting attractions which will be tech-infused and is expected to be launched before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. It will be a part of the Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan. One of the most exciting parts is that it will feature wrist bands that will be called as the Power Up Bands and will be operational with a smartphone app and will also support a few digital activities as you move around in the theme park.

Kurumi Mori, a reporter of a leading daily attended a press event on January 14, 2020 and had briefed about the details of some of the new elements at the upcoming Super Nintendo World. Mori also informed that the guests who are wearing the band will be able to collect digital coins and will also be able to compete against other guests at the park. A number of announcements related to the Super Nintendo World theme park were made by Thierry Coup, the chief creative officer at Universal Creative. Coup called the theme park as a life-sized, living video game.

The mobile app will be functioning as a overhead map that will be game-themed, where the guests will be able to find the attractions. The guests can collect the profile and also unlock the achievements. More details of the digital coins have not yet been revealed but the guests can expect some kind of rewards.
