GadgetHerald.com: South Korean giant Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Note 2, which is the follow up of the stylus driven gadget. It will reportedly go on sale in Britain on October 1, 2012. Simon Stanford, the Samsung UK executive said, “The introduction of the original Galaxy Note was a great success – we succeeded in creating an entirely new category”. Stanford added, “With the Galaxy Note 2, we’re not only expanding the category, we’re also evolving the technology to the point where it genuinely feels as though you’re using a traditional pen and paper.”

The new device has a 5.5-inch screen and is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad core processor, it is lighter and thinner than its predecessor. The Galaxy Note 2 runs on the latest version of Google’s Android Operating System, Jelly Bean and comes with an upgraded version of the S – Pen.
