WhatsApp seems unstoppable and has rolled out yet another new feature that will help to improve the user experience. The app has rolled out a new feature called as carts especially for the holiday season. The company posted a message on its social media account and wrote that the users need to just browse a catalog and select the items that they wish to buy and send the order as one message to the business.
With the help of the new feature the users will be able to go to the chat window of the business account. The users have to just click on the shopping option that can be found on the top right corner of the window. The feature can be accessed by Android as well as iOS users. When a user is going through a business catalog on the app, they can use the ‘Message Business’ to begin a conversation. Additionally, the users can also click on the button ‘Add To Cart’ if they are ready to buy it and place an order with the business.
To place the order, the user has to open the app and then go to the business profile of the business from whom they would like to order. They can tap on the shopping button icon that can be seen next to the name so that the catalog can be accessed. Once you have viewed the catalog, tap on the product that you wish to purchase and tap on ‘Add To Cart’. Even after adding products to the cart, the users will still have the option to edit the cart with the help of the ‘Add More’ button or alternatively can also remove some of the items that you do not want.
Once the cart is updated, it can be sent to the seller as a WhatsApp message. After the message is sent, the details of it will be sent to the purchaser.
