American video game retailer GameStop has some good news for those who would like to grab a fresh PlayStation 5, with the announcement of a restock. It is offering a restock on December 30, 2021 at the selected stores. With the latest announcement it is possible that it could be the last chance to grab a PlayStation 5 this year. The retailer has updated its store locator tool that allows the buyers to check if a local retailer will be participating in the restock.
It has to be clarified that not every store of GameStop will be having the restock, which means that the buyers need to double check so as to avoid any kind of disappointments. Moreover, the restock is being offered only for the PowerUp Rewards Pro members. People who are interested can sign up at GameStop through this link. The PlayStation 5 restock will begin as per the store’s opening time which could also be as early as 8 a.m. local time. There are expectations that some of the enthusiastic buyers could queue up much earlier, especially at a time when it could be the last chance to grab a PS5 this year.
Talking about the GameStop PS5 restocks, it will be available only in bundles. The bundles by GameStop usually are sold on the face value basis and includes the PS5 Disc console, one or even two of the popular PS5 games, an extra Dual Sense controller, a third party controller charging dock and a $50 GameStop gift card. The retailer usually charges the combined retail price of the items, which means that the purchasers will not be victims of price gauging.
At the same time, the purchasers who do not live near a GameStop or would like to purchase a console online can bookmark the PS5 restock hub so they get the latest updates in the upcoming weeks. The restock is only for the PowerUp Rewards Pro members.
