Apple Card Not to be kept with denim and leather

APple card

Apple Inc. developed Apple Card is now available to the US customers. The company has now released details about how the titanium card should be cleaned. A set of instructions has been released which has details for protecting and maintaining the card. This might come as a surprise for many that the card should not come in contact with denim or leather – this could make jeans and most of the wallets off limits as there is a potential of permanent discoloration that can be impossible to wash off.

Moreover, Apple has also recommended that the card should not be stored while touching other credit cards or with loose change, keys and other potentially abrasive items in case of scratches. The Apple Card should also be not placed near magnets in case its magnetic strip becomes demagnetized.

While talking about cleaning the card, Apple has recommended that the users use a soft, lightly damp and lint-free microfiber cloth or a microfiber cloth that has been moistened with isoprophyl alcohol. If the above instructions are not followed then the users might end up with a nasty looking card. Many of the leather wallets have linings and plastic cards have their own issues, but this one is supposedly more delicate.

However, this does not mean that your card might end up stop working just because it is a bit dirty. The users will be able to have an incentive to use Apple Pay more often regardless. The new Titanium card is more about flaunting your status as it is making purchases. And it is surely hard to do that if your card will look like it has gone through a lot. The Apple Card has been designed primarily to be used with Apple Pay on Apple devices like the Apple Watch, iPad and iPhone. The product was announced at a special event on March 25, 2019.
